Physical Description: A striking plant with broad green and yellow foliage and thick woody stems. Dracaena Massangeana can do well in low lit areas which make it an extremely versatile tropical plant that can adapt to many situations.

As usual watering is crucial to the well being of this plant, the roots do not extend very far from the woody stems and are also very shallow, so if you are top watering make sure you water the base of the stem. Yellow leaves can be a sign of overwatering, however the leaves can also turn yellow/brown if the plant gets too cold. If you find the right situation for a Massangeana then it will grow strongly, I have recently changed out a beautiful 10 ft high four stem specimen which was growing too close a canteen ceiling ! Regularly cleaning the leaves to get rid of dust and grime is essential especially if the light levels are on the low side.
